eBay says item paid with PayPal credit, while PayPal says it used Capital One

Ebay says item was paid for with PayPal Credit (PPC) despite PPC being nowhere to be found on my PayPal account. I thought my request to use PPC would just be rejected again. The concerning part is, on my PayPal, it says it somehow used Capital One instead. Despite this, for the last 2 days the transaction has yet to show up on my Capital One. How is this even happening? I have no other backup payment methods my PayPal could take from, only Capital One.

I am able to post screenshots showing the anomaly but with personal information censored if that's allowed.

I do understand your concern regarding your eBay payment. I recommend you to log in to your PayPal account to review the transaction details. You can see a full transaction receipt will the payment details.  You can also reach out to our team by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page to get more clarity on this.
