I usually do my transactions in USD and keep money in my account in USD so I can pay for items from abroad. USD is also my primary currency despite my account being Malaysian. Why does PayPal automatically convert USD to MYR despite the fact that I've closed my MYR wallet and USD is set to my primary currency? This ultimately takes a cut of my profit from having to exchange currency and was done without my consent. Is it possible to receive my transaction in the original USD amount instead of the converted MYR amount?
