USD to GBP rip off: since last month, conversion rate is 1 usd to 0.84 GBP (xe.com, most up-to-date) but PayPal use a much smaller fake rate of 0.81 and wipe off another chunk in addition to what they take off from the amount before it arrives. How can I sue them for stealing?

No company converting currency for you will give you the 'rate to rate' amount.

If you go on holiday and exchange money at your bank or post office then the rate is altered to allow for the fee, all companies do that including paypal.

Thank you for your reply, but that is not entirely true. WISE, formerly TransferWise are much better, and do not double charge for currency conversion. Paypal already took, for example, 40 USD off the amount I received, then to fake a currency conversion at 0.81 which is much lower than the current 0.84 is just taking the mickey. PayPal pretends it is an estimate based on current rate, but the estimate NEVER gets revised UP.
