Transaction fee, in a no fee situation.

Sending to a friend via my NON preferred card and there was a $1.17 charge. Why?

Friends/family payments are only free to the sender if funded via bank account or paypal balance.

If you send funded by a card you pay the card fee.

Advice is voluntary.
