I was double booked for a flight early this year by American Airlines and after months of trying to get a refund from them I finally did. I specifically contacted American airlines and in my American Airlines account it was confirmed that the credit was refunded to my Paypal and they confirmed it to me multiple times that that was the case. However apparently Paypal claims they don't have it. There is absolutely nothing American Airlines can do for me anymore because everything was done correctly on their end, but for some reason it feels like Paypal is withholding my money or somehow lost it in their system. This has been weeks and months with no real answers from Paypal as to why my refund hasn't been processed in my account when American airlines has confirmed that it has been sent to them. All I want is my money back, and it should not be this difficult. I don't even know what to do anymore. I have tweeted at them once again for answers but don't have faith that it will be resolved soon enough. What should I do?
