Sending money issue

I am trying to send money. It keeps asking me to link payment and is stuck there even after I put in all my info. What do I do?

Difficult to advise when you have given no information on how you are funding the paypal  payment / back up funding sources / new account etc.

I linked my visa debit card and it to my knowledge is already confirmed. I created my PayPal account 5 days ago. Would that pose the issue?

It would only be confirmed if you confirmed the card as per link.

It is not showing me a link for confirmation for the card on my wallet.
