Receiving foreign funds

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am a Canadian and am expecting to receive funds in Mexican Pesos. I sent my client my PayPal.me link and soon after noticed I should add the pesos to my currency. When should I expect to see this payment in my PayPal account? It has been 24 hours. I don't want to bother the sender until I know for certain that a reasonable wait period has passed. Thank you.

I understand your concern about receiving money through PayPal.me. Please be advised that receiving money through PayPal.Me is the same as receiving money through PayPal. As soon as you receive the payment, it goes into your PayPal balance immediately. In addition, we'll send you an email at the primary email address associated with your PayPal account to let you know you've received a new payment. Log in to your account at paypal.com or via the PayPal app and select activity to view the details of your payment. Please check this help center article to manage multiple currencies in your account.
