Received amount less than what was sent

Okay, i think i have made a mistake. Buyer paid me 3500 dollars, i received only 2 729,52 Pound sterling (after 155£ transaction fee) which equals 3 181,53 Euro but my Paypal balance shows only 3047,11 euros. Now this is very unfair. What happened to the rest and can i get it back?

I am sorry to hear the payment you received was less then you were expecting. I know this must be frustrating. The amount you receive can vary depending on a few factors, for example fees and currency conversation. 

If you go to your PayPal Activity page and click on the transaction, you should be able to view any fees that were charged on the transaction.
