Dear Paypal Community,
While trying to procede with a payment for a product at Alibaba, Paypal asked for choosing between a Debit Card or Credit Card and to type my Credit Card details (IBAN, BIC, Code) into the system, to start the payment procedure. I do not understand why is this asked from me, beforehand, at other transactions, this never came up. I do have a credit card bound to the Paypal Account as well as more than enough money on the account to make the transaction happen without external funding of the account being necessary. Could you please tell me why this is happening? Is there any way to avoid having to give all of my credit card details into the system?
Thank you in Advance!
Best regards,
Janos [removed]

Hello @Apafej,
Welcome to our community forum and thank you for your post!
Sorry for the inconvenience! It looks like our security system is not allowing this payment with the available payment methods in your account. I recommend you to try again the payment at a later date.
I hope this information helps! Have a great day!
Bindu
