Payment security

Good day all.. there are 2 methods of payment on paypal but only the secure payment method not the just send money to friend method, shows to offer payment security. Is this correct? Or is there security on both methods of payment?

You do not have buyer protection if you use the friends/family option as that is for sending gifts of money.

However I am not sure you even have that option in your country?

Also buyer protection is not a 100% coverall so make sure you read up on it so you can risk assess your transactions.
