I'm curious, does anyone else receive incorrect money frequently? I always refund the money and email the sender but it's a bit of a hassle to keep doing. I guess I have a common name? How do I prevent this from happening?

Hello @CarrieSoh,
Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!
I understand that you're worried about receiving payments. Please be informed it seems like someone may have mistakenly added the email address to their account, either mistyping it or intentionally entering an email that wasn’t their close one's or sent money by mistake. It is even possible that it was recycled by a domain provider like Gmail, Hotmail, etc. If you have an email account and stop using it for a while, the domain provider can reissue the email address to the public and allow it to be used again by someone else. In this situation for further assistance, please reach out to our customer support through the available contact options on our website so that our advisors can help you accordingly.
Regards,
Ayesha
