How to Disable Auto Transfers for One Month

Hello,

I would like to request a temporary disablement of auto transfers from my Paypal account for the next month. I will be traveling abroad and would like to transfer the balance in my Paypal account to my new country's bank account.

Could you please assist me with this request? I would greatly appreciate it if you could disable auto transfers for one month, starting today. I couldn't find a way to set it up myself.

Thanks

You can only add a US bank account or add a Visa card issued in Egypt to do automatic transfer. To disable the auto transfer you’ll need to remove card/bank linked which stops auto transfer and even prevents you from receiving payments.

See PayPal Receive Funds and Automatic Transfer Agreement to consider your options:

6. Financial Instruments (linked US bank account or Visa credit card):

  1. If you have more than one financial instrument linked to your PayPal account, PayPal will use the first financial instrument that you linked to your PayPal account for automatic transfers.
    • This means that if you link a Visa credit card to your PayPal account one day, and then link a second Visa credit card to your account the next day, PayPal will use the first Visa credit card for the automatic transfer.
    • You may change this by going to the “Profile” page, selecting “Manage Automatic Transfer”, and following the instructions to select your preferred financial instrument for automatic transfers.
  2. If you remove your US bank account and/or Visa credit card, PayPal will request that you add a new financial instrument to your PayPal account. If you do not do so, you will lose the ability to receive payments.
  3. If PayPal is unable to transfer your balance to your US bank account and/or Visa credit card for any reason, then PayPal will give you a limited amount of time to add a new financial instrument to your PayPal account. If you do not do so, you will lose the ability to receive payments.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
