Funds held after a refund.

I recently sold something through Grailed, and Paypal held the funds. I ended up refunding the guy, but the transaction says the money will be deducted from my bank account, but the funds were never released to me in the first place.

New seller hold, funds are released when tracking shows the item as delivered + 1 day OR 21 days as per link.

You can refund from 'cleared funds' in your balance OR a bank account. As you didn't have cleared funds it would come from your bank account.

Also you would not have enough anyway in your balance even if cleared as paypal no longer return the fee you were charged as part of any refund made.

So if you gave a full refund then the 'fee' element would come from your bank account.

So what can I do to release the funds ?

Wait 21 days now as you are not going to send the item.

Do I have to wait 21 days? Is there no way Paypal can manually release the funds if they have already been taken out of my bank account and the person has received their full refund?
