So I had an email last night to say I’ve made payment for £74 had cancelled it through the company and also through PayPal as it was an auto payment, will the money still come out of my bank account, even though I’ve cancelled the payment?

Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.
An auto payment or a subscription must be cancelled at least one day before the scheduled date of the next payment to avoid a charge. Otherwise, the money may come out of your bank account. I recommend reaching out to your bank's customers support teams to see if they could stop it.
