Accidentally tranferred fund manually to my PayPal account via a bank account that isn't linked.

So I've tried to transfer money from my bank account to my PayPal account using the manual transfer method (depositing money to the German PayPal account) but accidentally used a bank account that wasn't linked to my PayPal account.

The funds have been deducted from my bank account, but I haven't gotten a confirmation email or the money I deposited on my PayPal account.

Does anyone know if money deposited from a bank account that isn't linked to a PayPal account will get transferred back automatically?

Do you mean the bank account is added to the German PayPal but not confirmed? PayPal says that banks not confirmed cannot be used to add money or used as a payment method (it is withdrawals only), you would think it’s not supposed to let you add money or give an error message. I guess it’ll eventually be rejected and bounced back because I never come across a case like this.
