Sent Money, Reciever Can Not Access Account. Transaction Reads :completed.

I sent money to a friend for some artwork, he recieved the "You've got money" email however can not access the account!! He says it was no longer active. Somehow my status reads "completed" even though this is normally after the payment was accepted. I trust him and would not expect any shaddy business so what on earth is happening, and where is the money????????????

The money is in his account.

 

Just because the account is 'inactive' doesn'tr mean it doesn't exist.

 

He'll have to go to that account and transfer his money to the "active" paypal account using "Send money".

... yes , but what if the person cannot access the account (closed due to inactivity)?

 

I have this situation on my hand, my money is in seller's account, but she can't access it to do any transaction...

 

Any thoughts are well appreciated!
