Paypal don't allow you report fraud account until it already happened.

This person fake being a "sexy girl" that will come to your house (from your phone number on craiglist)
but car is empty of gas so you need to send $50 for gas.

Can you help me with gas fund

Sorry but its their choice to use the 'friends/family' option against paypal rules to purchase a 'service' or 'goods' and negate their buyer protection.

Essentially if they are not a close mate or a member of your family then why would you use that option as all you are doing is sending a 'gift' of money to someone.

If you send a gift then you don't expect anything in return.
