Hello, I would like to get help from you. Recently I had terrible situation with one person who is (I think) a fraud/scam. I will try to explain the whole situation and show in screenshots the proof. So lets begin. Everything started on instagram, I found a text in my directed messages that a man wants to help me and send me money to spend it whereever I want to, we started comunicating, he really was trying to get to my head with the “help” of money transfering and firstly he said that I will get money to my paypal account, he asked me for my email so he could send me money. The amount of money was 5000usd. I gave him my email adress and soon I got email that to my paypal account payment of 5000usd is proccessed but to get the money there is a fee of 200usd, payment method - cryptocurency via binance connect. I didnt know what to do exactly so he told me every step what to do and asked to send him screenshots of every move I make, so I did that, I had to pay 200 usd using binance connect which I don’t use at all, also I had to identify myself and so on… when I did the 200 usd fee, he texted me and said that I need to pay extra 500€ to complete the money transfer of 5000usd, again - I got second email from paypal and in the email says that payment status is 50% complete, payment status - bitcoin, payment fees - 500 €, after this I started to think that something is not right, so I refused to pay, he even said and did other paypal email to me of 8000usd money transfer to my paypal acount and again there is 500€ fee. He keep asking how much I can pay and so on.. I never use or do such things and I’ve been scammed and I want your help and in best wishes get back my money and block or something this person. Thank you

Sorry but seriously??? You sent all that money to a stranger who wants to send you money as a sugar daddy???
You never have to send funds to receive paypal payments, sadly you have been scammed. None of these transactions were done using paypals site and the paypal emails would have been spoof/fake so nothing they can do about it unfortunately.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I had a similar situation a few days ago except it was supposedly a woman saying she was a diamond trader and owned two boutiques! I researched her and her name didn’t come up on Linkdin but a man’s did who owns the boutiques. She said I’d have to pay $40US to enable the withdrawal of $2000 worth of Bitcoin from my Trust wallet to convert to cash on PayPal! I blocked her and didn’t pay of course and contacted trust wallet but they never got back to me…so you’re saying there’s no fee at all…even when it’s Bitcoin converting to cash?
