So - i have been trying to commission a VRChat avatar. They usually run about 200 bucks, but i have an artist who says he'll do it for 150.
I sent the money same as if paying for any item/goods ... and the invoice says [pending] and also has a "confirm item received" line to click.
The seller wants me to click the "confirm item received" so he can get his money... but he has not yet started the project (We just made the deal today though) .... i am very hesitant to click that until after i get my item ... but he wants to be paid before starting the project ...... am i still protected if he takes my money and runs (if he never gives me an item)???
Not sure what to do here.
