I have just turned 18 yesterday and tried to set up a PayPal account, and submitted photos of my learners permit. I was then emailed saying my account has been limited, and I am welcome to return once I am 18, which was ridiculous because I am 18. A couple hours later I received another email saying my account has been restored, except when I logged into PayPal a big red banner appeared telling me I am ‘permanently limited’ and cannot use PayPal ever again! I don’t understand what I have done wrong and it’s almost impossible to contact PayPal about this, the hold to talk on the phone is too long and when I try to talk to an ‘online agent’ I get told every time that no one is available and to come back tomorrow… Has anyone had similar issues and a solution for this? I really need PayPal and don’t have another email or phone number. Thank you!
