do I need to convert to a business account?

I’m confused with what I need to do to prove I am legit and to provide the buyer with some protection. Do I need to convert to a business account or can the buyer send the money as “goods and services” to my personal account?

As long as the goods/services options are used then the buyer has buyer protection regardless of account type.

You only need a business account if you are a high volume seller / a registered business / or you have been asked to upgrade by Paypal.
