I received an item that wasn't as described. I raised a query, gave all the information and photos. The dispute was settled in favour of the seller. I can't find out why. I've tried the automated help and tried phoning, but not got anywhere.
In an item received but not as described dispute it is always one persons word against another, paypal don't accept photos as they can be digitally changed.
Item has to be significantly other than as described ie you received a different item or significantly different as they don't get involved in quality issues, that would be between you and the seller.
Advice is voluntary. Kudos / Solution appreciated.
If your answer is correct, then there is little use to the function of raising a query of 'not as described', as how else would you prove it other than with photos.
