Today I received a notification from my bank due to a $1 transaction from Paypal. I have not used Paypal and I haven't had any activity here in months. There are no transactions in my bank account about this either. I just want to know if this is expected. Maybe Paypal was checking if my account was valid and had funds and reimbursed the dollar? This is precautionary, wouldn't want to know my account has been exposed in some way.
I have this problem but they didn’t just take a dollar once. It took over $40 ranging from cents to 20 dollars transactions and I didn’t notice until today. I’m going to call because it is charging for things I did not authorize for. The worse part is that it shows it’s PayPal transaction but it doesn’t show on my PayPal activity only on my account which is so weird. I took my cards off this app already and won’t be using it again.
