Hello, last night I received an email in regards to my PayPal account stating that I was no longer available to use PayPal anymore. At first glance it seemed as a scam email, so I logged in on the official mobile app to confirm, and yes for no logical explanation I had a permanent limitation on my account. I have been using this account to receive payments from 3d selling sites (cgtrader.com, turbosquid.com, artstation.com) and withdrawing from a local bank app "nequi" which I have been as well using for years now. There are no disputes from any customer payments, I have even stopped commissions and been relying on the 3d sites as source of income. Now there are only three reasons I can't think of may have triggered some type of alert: 1. I have recently been getting higher payments (250 usd - 300 usd), although it may be very unlikely for this to be the why, it has been a gradual rise from about 120 - 90 usd up to the previous mentioned amount. 2. More withdrawals than usual, now this is probably the most likely reason, the bank app, nequi I mentioned before is what I used for this transactions, now it was not uncommon for me to monthly withdrawal from there and then clear bills through their tools (such as paying internet service, recharging phone balance. etc) I even made a huge withdrawal (2,000 usd) to buy a laptop, but recently the amount of transactions (not in money) have increased since I'm trying to recover from depression, trying to get better at human interactions and going outside more often (or even at all, this month I was outside on my own for the first time besides study purposes. I'm 22 by the way). Naturally I have been spending more buying things that I need (like replacing clothes that were almost half my age). 3. I recently changed my business name and I forgot to update PayPal, since my direct client commission has been less demanding lately I spent a lot more time focused on 3d market places, thus not remembering that my business information was outdated, this was a decision that I made about w months from now you might say still fairly recent. I know it was a bit lengthy. Some information about my account if it might help to find a solution: I was 18 when I created my account, yes my account is set up for business and it has been for years, I am not from the US, I don't have a credit/debit card nor bank account linked to my PayPal (currently working on this, facing my mental limitations). Also thanks if you read this wall of text, I'm kind of lost and don't know what do. Ps. I just remembered after researching a bit on this topic, I read that similar names with people who might have any issues on their account could trigger any sort of automated response on your own account, and we'll me and my father share the exact name (except for the second last name) it may be confusing, but it seems to be a recurring thing on my family. Anyway thanks again for the support.

My account was recently "permanently limited" as well. They won't say why.
I read your post and something struck me. I recently began exploring the world of 3d modeling and printing. I'm building a statue for my son who passed. I've been in contact with tons and tons of people about all aspects of this.
One place that I did use PayPal for recently was Fiverr.com. I paid a 3D character modeler $400 to clean up a 3D scan of a monument. I paid him at the beginning of December. The project was due Jan 6th. He hasn't completed the project as of today, Jan 25th.
I opened a case on Fiverr.com and asked for a partial refund (enough to have someone else finish the work).
They said no.
My Paypal account was closed the next day.
If I get nothing from him, I have no recourse.
I can't dispute the purchase I made via Paypal.
I don't know if these things are related... but they are facts.

Oh, I guess the've been doing this to unsuspecting customers for years now.
Shutting down accounts that don't generate a lot of income (low usage) and have a couple bucks in the balance they can tie up for eternity.
Hey PayPal, if you need to borrow some money, just hit me up bro. I got you.
