Pending Payment until tracking number sent

So I sold a pair of shoes to this guy online. He paid me via paypal which was apparently pending me sending the tracking code. I have sent the tracking code and it’s still saying pending. How do I know the email is legit

Do you actually see the Pending payment in your PayPal account activity? Don’t just look at emails. If you don’t not see it, then go to the Post Office or shipping carrier and intercept/recall the package ASAP because you been scammed.

Pending status means an eCheck was sent awaiting the Completed status. Click the transaction for more details.

If you see Payment (or Money) Received status with an On Hold tag, then you have to ship and add tracking info (or update order status to Processed or Completed if digital item/intangible services) into the PayPal transaction for your protection.
