Hello!

My mother received an email from an email that looked like "{[removed]"  stating she had received 50 SEK (5 USD) to use or share with a friend, all she had to do was log in through the link in the mail. At first, I was 100% sure this was a phishing scam but the more I looked at the mail the more I thought it looked genuine, they were using her full name (her email does not have her name in it) the mail was very well constructed and not your typical scammer mail. So I guess my question is if this email "[removed]" is a legitimate email from PayPal.

Also, I did login on to my other device and clicked on one of the links that said view in browser and it sent me to a secure website "https://epl.paypal-communication.com/XXXXXXXXXX/HTML".

I could not attach any files to this post to show you the screenshots of the mail. So ill include a link: https://gyazo.com/073e84fbee9a438caeb9212d4e184201

P.S I could not post this first because it did not allow me to post the email that I received the mail from that's why the email looks like this "[removed]".

It’s legit. ”epl” stands for Epsilon, a service/company PayPal uses for their marketing emails.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
