Mystery Paypal payments on bank statement not on seen anywhere on Paypal account

I have multiple payments labelled "Paypal" on my bank statement. Some are regular "direct debits". There is no detail of the merchant or other identifying info. When I log into Paypal there is no reference to these transactions. In fact the account/bank card is not linked to my Paypal account.

What should I do to deal with this?

Report those transactions as unauthorized at your bank or card since there’s no record of the transactions/card/account in your PayPal account. Your card may have been compromised and used at merchants that uses PayPal to process payments.
