I've had paypal for a long time. I only use it to buy stuff not sell. I don't know what I violated. Why can't paypal simply explain to each of us what we violated so we know or can see where the issue is. It feels one sided especially to those who mainly use paypal like a bank account and not a merchant selling items. I was surprised to see to even be at this point that I didn't know could happen and now I'm suddenly seeing that this happens to many often. I'm just glad I didn't put any cash in it but now I can't use paypal but still can use paypal credit. So why limit my account paypal? Is it a human or a robot that does this? Why is it so hard to lift the limitation and also if so, what did I violated? I already call and call and even the line can't even answer anything.
I don't get it. Normally, you send a warning and what we violated and of course had an investigation before the ban. This seems to me that the only reason you limit account is for illegal transaction which makes sense but I have everything logged, I've mainly use paypal credit but even so, I still use my credit card with paypal an yways and pay fees. I was just so mad, why can't I get any explanation or any specific information of what I violated so I know? What are you hiding from me paypal. I'm angry. Can any representative here or even director speak to me directly? This is frustrating. i have this account for years without problem and I get limited for no explanation. I want to speak to your admin so I can explain my situation cause I don't think anyone who reviews anything cares to check and see or even give an explanation as to what violation occured. Nothing but that page that tells you, you can't access your account.
Can someone explain this to me? And yes, I just want closure. After this BS, I'm never using paypal again. I can't believe how hard it is to talk to a normal human here or even get a right info. It's like a piece of me was shattered. I use paypal for every purchases. I don't see what I violated because I never ever even on record bought any illegal stuff that violates their terms. Yeah, tell your investigator to check my logs.
Anyways, my apologies for being emotional to other people here. I'm just bursting out my irrate to this sudden limitation of my account and it really infuriates me to not get an explanation as to why things that happen happened. It so simple to provide. If it's a transaction, great!! Then what transaction is that so I can get my side out that I didn't violate the said transaction. I'm very mad and sad. :C

How does that work? Do I have to pay anything? I probably won't spend much time with it seeing I don't have any money to lose on the account. I'm just **bleep** that I can't use Paypal anymore as an easy payment method. I wish more sites use other payment method like Klarna or Affirm. I really hate paypals way and whether it's a robot or human, it's not even presented if your account is going to be lifted. It's not like I committed a crime. I simply use paypal to pay stuff. I can't believe this.

Yoy are not alone and its an irony that paypal wont let go of me despite undertaking steps to PERMANENTLY DELETE OR CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.

The thing that irritated me the most is they don't state what offense I did that resulted my account to be limited. They simply mentioned that I violated their terms.... okay "Paypal" what terms specific not general. I mainly use paypal to pay stuff. If there's fraudalent case that I didn't know about, paypal won't tell me. All my creditcards even bank is attached to paypal so if they don't tell me what's going, I'm simply risking my accounts attached to it as well. But nope, they decided to just limit my account without explanation as to why is my account limited.

If you used it previously, there's a chance that they track all info you have and just autoban you from reentering. I bet that's the reason. They never give any reason. This is shady. Yeah, I don't know if lawsuit would make sense out of this. It should be known so people boycott this practices of randomly limiting accounts without explanation to correct it and there's no way to explain the process needed to take out or lift the said limitation.

I don't have a business but they did the same thing to me and provided only a blanket statement and no reasons. Customer support is a joke.. a JOKE! I went through my account with multiple and verified all merchants. My credit score wasn't the best when opening the account and dipped since my divorce and covid but I have been open with them about everything. It doesn't make any sense. The money they are holding goes to my bills and my rent. Rent is due soon and my landlord is trying to work with me since covid had such an impact but this is going to cause problems and possibly eviction. Thanks, Paypal, You've quite possibly made a family homeless!! I honestly don't know why they are allowed to get away with this!?!?!?!? Slamm print or not, this is people's livelihood and family support. Paypal is the criminal here!
