Help! Need to refute a resolution center problem

Help! Seller agrees to refund me for items when I return them. However, the amount the want to give me is 1/2 & I cannot see how to refute this. It was done in the PayPal Resolution Center. Only step it allows is me submitting my postage info for returned items. I don't want to accept 1/2 my funds and if I miss the deadline, I'll get nothing. How can I refute this? Seller replied to resolution center that they'll reimburse me $23 (they say full reimbursement), only the full amount is $49.95 (product only, shipping was 0).

It seems as though the case has already been escalated and PayPal ruled in your favor by facilitating a return (hence the only step is to submit return shipment tracking info) for a full refund original price and original shipping costs paid, if any. At this point, there shouldn’t be any more negotiation for partial payments.

You’ll need to speak with a dispute specialist to look over the case to see if you are indeed at this particular stage of your claim:

  1. https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/contact-us
  2. Click Disputes and account limitations.
  3. Click Disputes.
  4. Click Dispute a payment.
  5. Click Call Us after “This information might help” box.
  6. Keep saying “agent” to the automated recording whenever it says something until you get an agent. Call during business hours (6a to 6p), west coast time.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
