Hello. I am very disappointed and angry with PayPal's customer service. I recently ordered from a website expecting a good in return for my payment. The website did look sketchy but I only ordered from it because I was hoping that PayPal Buyer Protection would help me out if I needed it. I placed this order 2 days ago and the item was supposed to be here within 3. I created a PayPal claim because the item hadn't been shipped after trying to reach out to the seller via their non-existent e-mail address, and after about 10-20 minutes (which I find hard believing a real person would have looked into my case in that time and resolved it this quick), I receive the notification that my claim has been denied. I paid for a good and paid via their website using PayPal as my payment method. However, this payment seemed to have gone through as a "donation" to a non-company account which I find very much confusing as I didn't donate to anyone. This is the point where I created my claim. I'm wondering if anyone else is a victim of this same scam and why PayPal are unable to help? Additionally, before processing this payment, I checked the PayPal Buyer Protection hyperlink and saw that fake donation accounts were subject to Buyer Protection because when it told me I was donating to someone, I did indeed end up sketched out. Please help and please tell me what I can do to dispute this even further.
