Buyer filed a chargeback after receiving my goods

I sold something to a buyer. The buyer made the payment for it as goods and service. I sent the goods to the buyer after I received the payments. A few days later, the buyer filed a chargeback with their financial institution reporting that someone made this transaction without their permission. Actually, the buyer sent me the screenshot of the transaction details after making the payment. I checked that his payment was from his PayPal balance, not from credit/debit card. How could the buyer file a chargeback from the card issuer when he made the payment just from his PayPal balance?

There is no way a seller can know the funding source a buyer uses with paypal.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

You are right. But I asked the buyer to send me the screenshot of the transaction details for his payment on which the funding source would be displayed.
