Hello Paypal Community,
I sold some takeoff automotive components from my vehicle to a customer, I processed the transaction through Paypal Invoice. Everything seemed normal until the customer began to act fishy on Facebook messenger after the invoice was sent. It took him a long time to complete the transaction, and began immediately asking about the refund/charge back policy "just in case it didn't show up".
30-60 minutes after the package was delivered, he filed a claim that he never received the package. I paid for additional insurance/coverage on my UPS package, and I have full proof of pickup and delivery with driver signatures. I believe UPS also has a picture of the package being delivered on the porch as requested by the buyer. The address on the paypal invoice matches the UPS label i printed, and I have all proof of the contents of the packages as well.
This is a lot of money to me ($1000), is there any additional information that I can provide paypal to help? I believe he is trying to scam me, and I just don't want to leave any boxes unchecked when providing Paypal with additional information to help my case.
First time I have ever been in a situation like this with a potential scammer. Any feedback would be helpful.
