Bitcoin scam over Gmail

Someone sent me an email saying I have placed an order to buy Bitcoin via PayPal. My order should show in my PayPal account in the next 10-15 hours and if I wish to cancel, I have to call their Billing Department. How do I deal with this?

SCAM, ignore them.

If you had bought something the transaction would show in your paypal balance.

Sounds like a spoof email and any phone agent would be fake.

I didn't get the notice through gmail, but I received an invoice today through PayPal from Pavan Pavan/Bitcoin exchange for $499.30. I called the number at the bottom to dispute and within a few minutes knew I was not talking with a legitimate PayPal person. They wanted me to go to the app store and download an app beginning with "eny". Nope!! so, I logged in to my computer and canceled the invoice- you cannot do this on your phone. Called PayPal next and the customer service agent advised that this is phishing. Because anyone can send an invoice to your email through PayPal it's not a security issue; they do not have access to your payment info nor can they force payment. Cancel the invoice and don't think twice about it.

I got one too and it showed up on my Paypal, I canceled it and threatened to report them to Paypal. It said it was a bill From Vijay Prajapati for 499.30. And it went to my gmail which is not even used for my Paypal, how do these people get into our Paypal? Or even send us an invoice?

They don't 'get' into your paypal, scammers have millions of email addresses and they send invoices out to hundreds at a time hoping that that email address is linked to a paypal account, if it is it will show in your paypal account.

They hope you don't notice and just pay it, ignore or cancel.
