Why does PayPal keep emailing me offers but any time I click it says I can’t get it?

Why does PayPal keep emailing me offers but any time I click it says I can’t get it? I usually delete emails from PayPal without reading and I don’t use PayPal anymore but every once in a while they send me an email to come back and offer some promotion. I usually delete them too but every once in a while I’ll click but then it always says I can’t claim it. It’s frustrating. Since the promotions aren’t real, is there a way to stop PayPal from sending me them?

I do understand your frustration with this. Emails are sent to the customers who are eligible for our promotions. You may need to complete some steps before receiving the payout.

Alternatively, if you no longer want to receive promotional emails from us you can follow the steps below to disable your email notifications.

1. Log in to your account at https://www.paypal.com/
2. Click 'Profile'
3. Click 'Notifications' under 'Account Information'. A list of automated procedures for your account will appear
4. Select the features you would like to receive with a checkmark
5. Click 'Save'
