Prepaid Mastercard

My original cash card was stolen over two years ago when I applied for a new one they sent me the prepaid Mastercard for some reason it is not now hooking up and I'm having problems using it can somebody please explain to me why

I'm sorry you're having trouble connecting your PayPal Card. I recommend referring to our Help Center for assistance activating a new card. If you continue to have difficulty, please contact Customer Support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal page. Support is also available if you send a DM to @AskPayPal on Twitter or a PM to facebook.com/PayPal.
