"Accept" for payments not working

Hello.
I tried to 'accept' a payment through PayPal but all I get is another screen saying 'accept' (or 'decline').
I've tried using a different browser but to no avail. The status shown in 'activity' is 'pending', so I'm not sure what is going on.
Unfortunately the PayPal resolution centre wont help me nor does its message centre seem to understand what I'm asking, so if someone is able to advise, that would be great.
