Refund Pending

I have received a refund from an eBay seller but she’s messaged me to say it’s showing as pending so when I’ve checked my side is too. Does anyone know what it’s pending. It’s been like this a few days now. Many Thanks

Reasons for echeques being used instead of paypal crediting the recipient upfront ...

1. Card needs updating.
2. Has had a recent negative balance.
3. A recent failed bank transfer.
4. For some high cost riskier payments / transactions.
5. Friends / family payments....funded from a bank account.

6. Refunds funded from a sellers bank account.
