Hi, I've raised a dispute with a merchant through Paypal, I then cancel the dispute and now, I'm stuck in limbo. The merchant claimed that the fund was reverted but it is not reflected on my activity statement. Paypal can't help because the dispute was cancelled. The purchase was part funded thru my credit card and credits on Paypal account. Below is the response I've got back from the merchant and I have no way of knowing if it is true that it takes 5-10 business day for the activity to reflect on my end. Please help.
Merchant: As I check the status of the payment it shows as " Payment reverse via IPN" IPN is instant payment notification. Which means that someone on your end or Paypal reversed the payment. One reason that I can see why it hasn't showing on Paypal's end because it will take 5-10 business days for any refund or payment reversal to go back to the origin.
What avenue have I got? Paypal suggests that I contacted our bank.
