Getting money back

I sent my friend money and he has no access to his paypal. He wants me to get the money back so I can give it to him in cash. How in the world would I do that.

What does it say in your paypal account next to the transaction ie payment / sent / pending / unclaimed etc.

Was it a real friend or a seller?

Only SENT means it has successfully processed to the paypal account / email address you sent it to.

So if the email address was correct without any spelling errors then your friend has received it.

The only way to get it back is to tell him to click on the transaction and use the refund option bottom of that details page.

Be careful only bad sellers tell you to use that option and then pretend they have not received it knowing as it was a friends/family payment you can't raise a dispute.
