Accidentally selected payment instead of selecting friends and family.

I sent money to my friend but selected payment. there has been a fee to his account. How can i solve the issue. please suggest me.

If he click return the money back, PayPal will also return the fee too it may take sometime thought

Sadly you are wrong, paypal no longer returns the fee that was charged when someone paid as part of any issued refund.

Paypal no longer returns the fee you were charged when your buyer paid as part of any refund that you issue.
Paypal processes your buyers original payment and then the refund for you, the fee is for providing that service.
Sadly you can't change a payment from goods/services to friends/family once sent.
