I know that you have to be 18 to have a PayPal account but my 14 year old son wants to start selling on eBay in order to raise funds for a trip abroad. How do we do this?

Paypal does not allow account holders under the age of 18.
PayPal asks for a birth date when they register so whilst they can make a PayPal account with false information the account will be subject to sending and receiving limits.
When they reach those limits they would be unable to verify the account so the account would be locked for further use.
Minors can’t enter legal contracts so they won't have any recourse to get their money back.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
