Scammer has my licence, phone and email.

I am concerned that a scammer has my personal details being my licence, phone number and email, address and date of birth.

What can I do? They were asking about my sons bike for sale on bikesales.

I have rung police twice and got nowhere. I basically have to wait until ID theft happens before I can report it....makes no sense. 

Can scammers get into bank accounts and paypal with copy of somebodies licence?
