Hello PayPal Community -
I've used PayPal for years to make purchases online and I've never been charged fees. Recently I made two purchases from a gal in CA via Facebook and noticed a small PayPal fee of .88 cents on one order and $1.32 on the other. Then on those same dates on my bank card statement it shows a flat Cash Advance Fee for $10.00 for each transaction. I was floored to say the least and can't figure out 1. why I'm all of a sudden seeing PayPal fees and 2. why would these PayPal fees trigger a cash advance fee of $10.00???
If this is how the process is going to roll moving forward, I'm going to have to look for another platform to secure online payments and walk away from PayPal all together which I don't want to do but when you can't reach a human being in customer service and can't find the answer online it's beyond frustrating.
I'm grateful for any feedback from the community - Thank you in advance!
