Security is blocking my ability to transfer funds

When attempting to transfer funds to my bank, I receive a security message requesting my phone number in order to send me a text or call me (I already have my number in my account system).  When I attempt to enter the number again, it says that the formatting is wrong and concludes that I can't complete the transfer at this time and I'm kicked out.  How do I resolve this?

As you have not added your country to your profile (so we can see when we hover over your username) or said in your post which country you are in then sadly can't advise.
Paypal varies a great deal country to country so you need to tell us where you are on this worldwide community forum.
