Update Name on PayPal Account

Hi Guys.

When I set my PayPal account up several years ago, I jused used an initial for my First Name. I have been trying to update my name on PP to include my full first name, not just the first initial. 

I have uploaded my passport, my drivers licence, several different utility bills (all with matching names and details) and yet here I am, still looking at "Mr C <Surname>" on the paypal account.

I must have tried the name update half a dozen times over the past couple of years. I have never had a response from PayPal, and there is no where to send feedback or as for help.

Anyone have any ideas? or is payal just rubbish and dont care?

If the name on the account is not a name that was ever your legal name, it is not likely that a name change will be possible. Names can be changed on an account in the following circumstances:

A legal name change

A minor misspelling

And in the case of an account for a registered business, a change in the designated contact for the company.

Changing from a fictitious name (or, as in your case, an intial only) to a legally recognized name is not something that is supported. If the account is not currently limited, you may wish to close the account and open an account using the correct information.
