I have a billing and delivery address for my credit card and bank account linked to PayPal in Portland OR.
Whenever I buy a subscription for software etc, PayPal reports my address as within NJ and I get hit with extra tax.
I haven't had a NJ address since 2013. I have made Portland my primary address in PayPal.
For some reason PayPal won't let me delete any of my obsolete addresses, including the old NJ address.
Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do about it? PayPal makes it sooooooo hard to fix these kind of problems.
It has got to the stage where I avoid using PayPal and try to pay direct using credit card or ACH.
