Unauthorized refund to a customer

Hi everyone, I really need advice. My sister just told me that she had sold some amazing tennis rackets on eBay and received the funds from the customers via PayPal. Then she calls PayPal for another issue about refunding a totally different transaction on her personal account and the robot accidentally says that she authorized a refund back to 3 of her customers who purchased her tennis rackets. When she calls PayPal they tell her that she needs to contact the customers to get the money, which she proceeds to do, but they haven’t responded back to her, which makes sense because they already received their rackets and paid, but then got refunded. I doubt they will pay her back. Need advice. This all seems really shady. Thank you so much guys.

@Hellopu,

I recommend contacting our customer service teams for further assistance if your sister is still seeing this issue on her end.  She can click 'Contact Us' at the bottom of any of our pages to get a phone number to reach us at, or she can contact us on Twitter (https://twitter.com/askpaypal) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/PayPal). We would be happy to take a look at what options might be available to her.
