My mobile number changed a few years ago but I never updated my profile.
Now I can't log in as Paypal wants to send me a text on the old number to verify the account.
I've tried logging in from a different browser which doesn't work.
Also tried using the Help Chat system, but this also requires me to log in to proceed.
Tried ringing the help support number but spent ages going round and round in circles with the automated options, could not get to a point of speaking to an actual person.
Funny thing is, when I selected 'Ask the Community' to access this forum, it allowed me to log in to create this profile to do this!
Really stuck as to how to resolve. Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some help with this please?

Hello,
I try to login, but Paypal now uses a wrong telephone number (before using a good one before), which cannot be corrected - it is impossible to access the system because at each step a telephone identification is used. This is completely crazy, especially as there is no hotline (the German number given keeps you in a computer cycle), and no possibility to talk to someone who could override the stupidity of the system. I will have to close down my PayPal account, via my bank. Completely stupid that such a big compony cannot think of correcting such a big error...
I saw in the forum, that other people have the same problem, some have solved it by switching to the cellphone application, in my case it does not help. I am completely stuck, just like many other users are. Happily, I did not put any money in my PayPal account, and I can only recommend to everybody who has, to completely empty your account before something similar happens.

Last year i changed my phone and i lost two authentifcation code acces
And i tried various things to acces my account but nothing is working
How i can acces my main paypal account if i don't have two authentification code acces and i have another phone?
