Issues to log in account phone verification - no sms received

Hello!
I have attempted to log in into my account, but when doing so I was first prompted to enter my email address and confirm it, which I did and afterwards, phone number. My phone number is no longer in use and I was not logging in into my paypal for a while, but I would really like to check if my funds were send there, because I have listed the following email address as primary. I have access to email and I would probably know to answer the recovery questions of that matter. Please help me, since I'm struggling to use any kind of live support without logging in.

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
