When I first opened my PayPal account, I used English characters in my last name. I also wrote "batibay". However, I couldn't add my account to paypal because this last name doesn't match with my ID and bank name. I changed my last name by adding my ID. Does this process take long?
Can take a few weeks 'if' the accept the change.
However normally they will only accept 2 minor character errors OR a change for legal reasons.
Should be fine then, if its been more than a couple of weeks why not contact them for an update?
Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.
1. Paypal phones when available (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
